Experience Squam is a very popular tourist attraction- for this reason, we suggest you book your tour well in advance. We provide life jackets for infants through adults, a cooler, ice, bottle opener, cups, towels and binoculars. Don't forget- you are always welcome to bring along food, beverages and spirits. You will meet the boat at the dock behind Walter's Basin in Holderness, NH to begin your excursion, unless you are staying on the lake.  If you are staying on the lake the boat will pick you up at your dock.

General Excursions
The boat holds up to 9 adults squishy, 9 kids with adults comfy or 7 adults comfy. Children 12 and under are required to wear life jackets. The life jackets that we provide for children are stylish and comfortable.

Fall Tours
When the water cools down and the leaves change colors, Experience Squam offers a scenic tour of the lake. Along with the most beautiful foliage, you will often see groups of loons gathering, and with luck you might see a flight school expedition for the young loons learning to fly. Large groups of migratory birds often stop to rest along their journey south which can be a spectacular sight. Bald eagles have been spotted regularly as well as mergansers, blue heron and cormorants. Tour historic Church Island, stroll along the Chamberlain Reynolds boarded swamp walk, or see sights from scenes of On Golden Pond.

Fishing
Want to get out on Squam Lake to fish? Our licensed operators  will take out the beginner to expert fisherperson. Our licensed operators are not expert fishermen, but they do know where some hot spots are and are capable of instructing a beginner, or taking instruction from an expert as to where they'd like to try their luck, or how fast they'd like to troll. You will have to provide your own equipment and fishing licenses are a must for ages ages 16 and older. You are welcome to bring food, beverages and spirits. A cooler, ice, cups and openers are provided, along with blankets, towels and binoculars.

Rates for Fishing Excursions
$95 per hour or $215 for 2 1/2 hours

Church Island Shuttle

Would you like a ride out to Church Island?   The boat will depart from the end of the dock behind Walter's Basin at 9:45am and return after the service which begins at 10:30am.  The boat holds nine passengers and the rate varies depending on how many passengers there are.  $30 per person if there are 2 or less,  $20 per person if there are 3 or 4, $15 per person for 5,6 or 7 , $12 per person if there are 8 or 9

Weddings
Travel to Church Island in style on a private 21' White Sea Ray Bow-Rider. Whether it's for the bridal party or groomsman, the boat holds 7 comfortably and 9 a little squishy.

You may decorate the boat to your liking. You are welcome to bring food, beverages or spirits. A cooler, cups and bottle openers are provided.

The boat will pick you up at Walter's Basin restaurant docks, or where ever you are staying on the lake, or have made arrangements for departure.

Rates for Weddings
$95 per hour including wait time for decorating and wedding ceremony. The hourly rate decreases to $86 an hour after 2.5 hours.

Productions or Utility
Do you need a boat for your production? Experience Squam has a 21' Sea Ray Bow-Rider for hire to haul camera equipment, cast or crew, or to scout for locations on the lake. Experience Squam has had 25 years experience on Squam, and has also worked on several productions off the lake for Hallmark, Audi, Wrangler Jeans and DUO Productions.

Rate for Productions or Utility
$500 for up to an 8 hour day
$95 per hour after 8 hours

Payment and Cancellation
.All tours and excursions are payable by cash, check, Mastercard/Visa or Paypal and we require a 50% deposit by cash, check, Mastercard/Visa or Paypal. Experience Squam will make a  refund of all fees paid if a cancellation notice is received (by phone or email) at least 72 hours before the excursion minus a $10 processing fee.  No refunds will be made for cancellations received after the 72 hour deadline, unless Experience Squam cancels because of weather.
